What a great way to get back in to updating my blog! Austin & Lauren faced extreme heat during their engagement session and handled it like pros. Just goes to show that love does conquer all!

Sam is my senior rep for Louisburg High School in Louisburg, KS. Sam is very laid back and just takes life in stride.
We spent a couple of hours out in the heat to capture Sam’s senior pictures. I have to say I am extremely happy with the outcome!

Sara is my senior rep. for Harrisonville High School. Sara was so much fun to shoot. She did not want “traditional” senior pictures. She wanted pictures that showcased her personality and I think we definitely captured that. From the elementary school playground to an inflatable sumo suit on the town square, Sara rocked her pictures like a pro.
I can honestly say I do not think I have laughed so hard during a session.
Sara thank you for making my time with you so much fun. I had a blast and certainly walked away with some memories.

This past Sunday evening I had the pleasure of hanging out with Aubrey and Brandon. I have known Aubrey for many years. (I believe my wife actually was her counselor at kids camp.)
I can tell you now that this couple is very much in love! They laughed almost the entire session, especially when a random passerby shouted out his car window with great approval. It was a great night. The weather was perfect. The sky was blue and Aubrey and Brandon brought the joy and the smiles.
Congratulations to both of you. I can’t wait for the wedding in November!

I took Collin and Kristen’s engagement pictures back in May and just last week was able to capture their wedding day for them as well. What started out as a rainy day cleared up into a beautiful afternoon. The ceremony was unbelievably beautiful as was the bride. Congratulations to both of you. I pray that your future is filled with each other’s love and that happiness and joy follow you always!

On July 17, 2010, Ryan and Morgan committed to a life of love together. It was a beautiful ceremony and the bride was gorgeous!
The entire bridal party put up with intense heat all day. They were troopers. It was hot…HOT…hot. But you really can’t tell that from the pictures. We went to the Nelson Atkins Museum for pictures and had a blast. We also stopped by Sonic with the bridal party on our way back to the venue. Ryan and Morgan met while working at Sonic, so that was fun.
Congratulations to you two!!! I pray your love flourishes with time and that you always find happiness in each other.
